Ripon Physiotherapy Clinic Ltd enjoys access to the hydrotherapy pool at Lister House in Ripon. The pool is owned by the Royal Britsh Legion and treatment here is initially arranged through the physiotherapist at our clinic. Access to the pool for aquacise, exercising in the pool without the physiotherapist in the water with you, can be arranged directly with the Royal British Legion staff at the pool in Lister House. Please contact us for more advice if you are unsure if this type of exercise therapy is safe for you and for initial assessment if you have never had hydrotherapy before.
Hydrotherapy can be helpful in rehabilitation following surgery or for a neurological condition, for example following a stroke or in the management of long term conditions like multiple sclerosis and other muscle wasting conditions.
